Ok, so I have been to the market, dollar store (spent too much money again) & PO. I almost forgot that this was 4th of july weekend. Sooooo, I had to buy some extras for that as well. You know, stuff to BBQ, potato salad, watermelon, etc.?
I heard a rumor that watermelons are selling for as much as $10.00! I think that must be like the produce people , you know Farmers Market, etc? Well, I do all of my shopping at Aldi's and the seedless watermelons were only $3.49 a piece. I bought 2. Hubby has to go to Wally World, so he is going to check out how much they are selling for there. Sheesh, come on, how much is a watermelon worth for heavens sake?!
The birds are trying to build nests in the outgoing, dryer heat, hole again. I try to cut down on the electricity we use by hanging out some of the laundry on the line.(except the towels, I have to have my towles nice and "oh so fluffy" - think Weird Al here.)So that means that the dryer isn't going as much. Dern, stupid birds. My youngest daughter went around back of the house and yelled, "GET OUTTA THERE!" Ralph Cramden style and scared the birds half to death. Then she pulled the nesting material out and tossed it. LOL Sorry, but she is 9 and such a hoot anyway, but that had me laughing for a while. I have got to get that attachement mounted back up over that hole, asap.
Well, I need sit down and check up the check book and see how much money we have left. It was pay day today, so time to sit and pay bills. WOO HOOO! NOT! Hey, if I don't get a chance to bore you to death again this weekend, have a good 4th and be safe!
